NEW ROSS- Mrs. Edna (Grandma Kincaid) Sutherland, 83, died Tuesday morning at her home here. She had been seriously ill eight months. Born June 14, 1878, in Lee County, Ky., she was the daughter of Noah and Eliza Hobbs Williams. She was twice married. She first married John S. Kincaid in 1898. He died in 1916. In 1922 she married John W. Sutherland, who also preceded her in death. Mrs. Sutherland was a member of the Jamestown Pentecost Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Evra Powell of New Ross; four sons, Dudley Kincaid of Indianapolis, Harrison Kincaid of Jamestown and Noah and Vernon Kincaid, both of Whitmore Lake, Mich.; a brother, Tom Williams of Middletown, Ohio; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Jamestown Pentecost Church. Rev. John E. Smith of Crawfordsville will officiate. Interment will be in the Jamestown IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Wednesday.
